You can delete your Medfolio account at any time. Two ways — both result in the same complete erasure.

Delete from inside Medfolio
- Open the Medfolio app on your phone
- Tap Settings (gear icon, bottom tab)
- Tap Account & data
- Scroll to Delete account
- Confirm with a fresh OTP
Deletion begins immediately. Soft-delete recovery window is 30 days.
Alternative · email
Email a deletion request
Email support@medfolio.co.in from the email address linked to your registered phone number, with the subject line “Delete my account”.
We confirm receipt within 1 business day and complete the deletion within 7 days.
Erased completely
- All reports (PDFs, photos, scans)
- All extracted observations and values
- All profiles you own (yours + any family profiles)
- All share links and audit logs
- Account metadata and preferences
For security & compliance
Anonymized usage logs may be retained for up to 12 months for security and statutory compliance purposes. These logs do not contain identifying information and cannot be linked back to you.
Retention & recovery
Soft-delete for 30 days. During this window, you can sign back in with the same phone number and recover your account intact. After 30 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Effect on shared reports
All active share links you created are revoked immediately on deletion, regardless of their original expiry. Recipients who had downloaded files before revocation may retain their local copies.
