About

About Medfolio.

We don't diagnose. We organize.

Why we built Medfolio

A folder of lab reports is a story. Most families lose half the chapters.

Across India, a typical adult holds papers from three to five different labs across their adult life. Their parents' reports sit on email threads, in WhatsApp scrolls, in drawers, in folders no one remembers. By the time someone needs to look up what the HbA1c was three years ago, the report is gone — or worse, the PDF exists but no one can find it.

We built Medfolio because the simplest, most boring problem in healthcare is also the one that hurts the most: most families don't know where their records are. The trend across visits — the thing that actually shows whether you're getting better or worse — is invisible.

The bet behind Medfolio is small: we don't need to be a healthcare app, a diagnostic tool, or a telemedicine service. We just need to be the place where every lab report lives, organized into one private timeline, ready to share with whatever doctor you see next. The Personal Health Records category, properly built for Indian families.

Positioning

What Medfolio is, and isn't.

We are
  • A Personal Health Records platform:
Built for Indian families. Free to start.
  • A document organizer:
PDFs, photos, scans — into one private timeline per person.
  • A trend visualizer:
Lab values across years, on one chart per test.
  • A secure sharing tool:
OTP-verified links you can revoke any time.
  • Family-first:
Up to 6 profiles per account. Parents, kids, partner.
We are NOT
  • A healthcare app:
We don't treat, prescribe, or manage disease.
  • A diagnostic tool:
We don't interpret your individual values.
  • A telemedicine service:
No doctor consultations, no chat with experts.
  • An AI doctor:
No personalized health advice — ever.
  • A data broker:
We don't sell, share, or train on your records.
“We don’t diagnose. We organize.”

Editorial process

How we write the glossary.

Glossary articles on Medfolio are written for an Indian audience and reviewed by the Medfolio editorial team against public health authorities — ICMR, WHO, NIH/NHS, IAP, and ICMR-NIN. Each page cites the specific sources we worked from, shows the date it was last reviewed, and is re-reviewed when those source guidelines change materially.

Medfolio is a personal health records app, not a healthcare service. The glossary is educational reference material — not a diagnosis, not medical advice, and not a substitute for what your doctor tells you about your individual results.
